Seattle Super Markets used to be one of my favorite markets when I lived in South Seattle. Since I moved South I don’t go there as much anymore.

What's good about this store is it has a lot of fresh vegetables, fruits and seafood. There are some unique fish I see here that are not available anywhere else. I took some pictures to show you.

Customer service vice it's okay, and everyone seems to be minding their own.

The reason for the four stores in the back of the stores towards the seafood area is a bit smelly.

A local Asian market in this neighborhood! But big compare to ranch 99 but they still carry quiet a lot essential Asian products. Price are fair for most of the product.
Has a parking lot or you can do street parking, both very convenient.
But don’t expect very friendly cashiers or workers since they don’t speak English perfectly. However they do their job pretty well.
One con is cashiers only on their positions and never walk around the store, so it’s not easy to ask for help.

Great selection of Asian food. Produce, fish, meat, salty and sweet, non-grocery items. Amazing amount of fresh seafood, some still swimming! Be warned that if you have have a weak stomach, you may not like the sights (it's clean and well-managed, but some people don't like their food so real!). Also, there is a strong scent when you enter, mostly because of the seafood. This could be objectionable to some people. The prices are mostly very good. Especially, the meats and seafood. Other items, as long as you are an informed shopper, you can get some great deals. The selection is wide and you're bound to find some great items! Update 10/2022: still a great place!

Be careful when you buy anything here, check the exp, they put some tab over the exp date, i bought a soy sauce, when i got home i looked for the exp, and i saw they tried to cover it, and i was expired since 11/2022

07/28/23: it was a good local Asian market in the Beacon Hill area. I found all affordable and good Asian cuisine here. The downside is that the store is quite small and stink in the seafood area

They treated me like I was a thief and made me feel super embarrassed maybe because I am Latin who knows!
I had some fruits in a bag (papaya on a plastic tray and ginger, which they clearly don't sell them like that in their store) next to my baby, with the receipt on top. While I was searching for some kitchen cloves, the woman told me I had to pay for those items, and I told her I didn't buy them here and pointed to the receipt. Then she started talking to the other cashiers, telling them to make sure I paid for everything, that I wanted to leave with the items. I approached to pay for the cloves, and the woman at that checkout asked me to put all the items there to pay for them. I told her again that I hadn't bought them there, showed her the receipt, and without asking for permission, she started inspecting my things, which were right next to my baby. At the same time, the other cashier came over to check as well. Everyone there was looking at me as if I were a thief, thanks to the attitude of these people. The incredible thing is that they have the cameras right there in front. The WORST 5 minutes of my life.
And its sad because they have really good fruits (except the papaya for me) and vegetables. But never go back AGAIN. (It was something like that when I was looking for the cloves)

I've not been to this supermarket since my early 30s but not much has changed including the prices. Lots of fresh meat and produce to choose from. They have a nice selection of fish to choose from just like your typical Asian fish markets including the smells. Grocery is still affordable here.
