Three years ago I had Bath fitters install a new liner in my bathroom. There were some issues with the install (3) liners before they got it right. There were still issues with the liner not stuck to the back of the tub, but I was done with complaining. They said that sometimes happens.
Now 5 months ago I noticed the grout was turning color between my tiles. I tried all kinds of cleaners and nothing helped. Meanwhile I had my kitchen remolded and when they tore down the wall you saw the backside of the tub. The bottom of the wall had rotted away and so did the floor that the tub was sitting on. The floor was also wet and had black MOLD. It was on a Friday so I could not do anything until Monday. I called Bath Fitters first thing Monday morning and talked to Shimmica. I told her to have someone call me back that day asap. NO ONE CALLED.
I called back and talked to Trish and told her to have someone at my house before 12:00 on Tuesday before the tub was removed. NO ONE CALLED. I called back on Tuesday and talked to Vicky and she sent me to another girl whose name I did not write down and she sent out an email that said “Call this lady asap she is going to call a lawyer.”
I got a phone call and Joe showed up at my house after the tub was removed and the walls were gone. I had MOLD in my house that needed to be removed. I needed my floor repaired that was holding my tub in place. We also found out that the tub liner was not the correct one for type of tub I had and mold on all 3 sides of the wall and all 3 sides were wet. The tub was pushing against my tiles and making them loose up to where they were leaking. The tub did not adhesive itself on the backside of the tub and If we were not remodeling we would have never known about the leak and the tub would have fallen through the floor.
I asked Bath Fitters for compensation for the cost to get the bathroom fixed. Do you think in your right mind that I would have bath fitters come into my house and do a shabby job again.

I am writing to confirm that the claim is denied because Mrs. Higher opted to tear out our product and install another one without giving Bath Fitter a chance to come in and fix it. Consequently, the warranty is void.
I called to give them a chance and they never called me back when I called them 3 different times.
