This review is specifically about Nurse Amanda Campisi (5R North) to highlight the care she provided my husband daily during his week long stay. The passion she has for what she does is visible & evident through the care she provides her patients. She went above & beyond countless times, answering our questions and making herself available to ensure our needs were met. Without hesitation, she would advocate for my husband and effectively liaison with other teams on his behalf. The best part is - she did it all with a smile on her face! Her personable demeanor made it easy to approach her and I never once felt uncomfortable doing so. She even made us laugh at times, which is medicine in itself. She works hard and is very good at what she does, so I’d like her to be acknowledged & recognized for it. Thank you, Nurse Amanda - we sure could use more nurses like you!

I can't believe how people still have this job. The directory transfer me to the receptionist for my appointment and she couldn't even help me or wanted to help me telling me I can't check now to go back in 5 minutes. This was important I had to get an ultrasound for my stomach and she literally hung up on me. I had to call back the to the directory she was so kind to help me, it only took a minute. That was not her job but she did it. Sadly how people could still be so cruel. I can't imagine how crew she could be with people face to face. No human compassion.

If I was the Mayor of Bayonne or GM of Medical center of Bayonne, I would close this place immediately until I hired new professional staff in this place, Oh my God, this place is horrible really horrible place I ever saw. Every individual person there are aggressive, tuff and bad attitude, please take your lovely mother or father away from this hospital. The security guy even yelling at me to move the car from the door of the hospital during I am picking up my mother he saw me picking her up and he was yelling at me. I can’t believe it, how rude he was with me plus the workers inside the hospital are too aggressive people. This place should be shut down until they improve their attitude.

This place is horrible from the registration desk keeping patient records all out in the open for security guards to read them out loud with a room full of people, to security guards hanging out all around and not doing their jobs and prying into private confidential patient information to the MRI department taking 2 and half weeks to complete the mri report. They have no regard for patient privacy or safety. Patients being treated horribly. Doctors discussing patient’s private health information in a waiting room for everyone to hear. Emergency room is dirty and the restrooms are even worse, and bloody disgusting floors. Don’t know how this place is still open. Several incidents at this place spoke with the head of the department and she disregarded my complaint no regard for the HIPPA policy or laws. Just Horrible!

My family and I recently moved here to Bayonne. My 2 year old son got sick and it happened so fast that it seemed like he was going to faint. In my panic and hurry, the first thing I found was this place. I went in desperately with my almost fainted child in my arms and I asked them to please help me urgently. It should be noted that I am Hispanic and I went in speaking Spanish. The lady who helped us at the entrance stared at us without saying anything for a minute (a very awkward moment) and continued typing on her computer. When she finally decided to speak, she said to me, “We don’t speak Spanish here!” I pretended I didn’t speak English and my 9 year old daughter told her, “My brother was fine, all of a sudden he started to cry, all of a sudden he got a high fever and now he’s not moving, it seems like he’s going to faint because he’s not reacting.” The very lazy lady got up from her chair and said, “Wait here!” and she left... she didn't take long to come back and she told us: we can't serve them here, because we only work with insurance here! :/ !? and I, what?. A girl who was next to her told her but they can apply for childcare. and I, :/ !? what?. The other girl told her: let them go somewhere else... (mind you, we have insurance, but they assumed we didn't have it). and then draw your own conclusions. and if you're Hispanic and even worse if you don't speak English, save your life and go somewhere else, every minute is important and here you only come to lose everything... excuse me

Worst hospital ever i been waiting for over 4 hours for just a blood test. Staff are mean. Unprofessional nurses. After spending 4 hours waiting they said i’ve to keep waiting. I spoke with one of the staff she raised her voice on me and told me i can leave if i’m in rush. Don’t ever think about going there. 0 star
