This is so confusing. Inside of the store has a sign says Tân Bình Market. Then, the sign on the outside has Chợ in front of it and lettering is red. There is a similar named store in the same parking lot. This is the newer store at AI HOA Marketplace. Looks newer with lots of stuff inside. I don't understand why they use same sign styles.

Make sure to pay close attention to what they charge you on the screen. This Ube snack was listed at $2.99 but was charged at $3.29 at the register. Those extra cents add up when you buy more items, resulting in a much higher total. It's very dishonest!

You can find a lot of traditional Vietnamese snacks, fruits and produce which is hard to find some where else. Some ready to go fruits, interesting soft drink selections and bunch of great fresh produce. Fun place to find exotic stuff.

Beware...ready to eat rice crepes with mold. Brought today from Tan Binh supermarket. Package expiration date is 7/30/2024. First notice when opening the package with strong moldy smell. After separating a few crepes, mold is visible almost half of each crepe. I could have brought it back to the store but it's not worth my time and gas. Entire pack gone straight to trash.

We had their roast pork and char siu (bbq) pork. The prices were good and the pork was great.

Chợ Tân Bình has become my favorite local supermarket, and I find myself going back every week for its unbeatable combination of fresh produce, authentic ingredients, and friendly atmosphere. This place has a lot of character, with a bustling energy that makes every visit feel like a mini adventure. Whether I’m stocking up on essentials or hunting for something special, Chợ Tân Bình always delivers.

Product Selection:
What sets Chợ Tân Bình apart from other supermarkets is its incredible variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients, especially when it comes to Asian and Vietnamese products. The produce section is vibrant and full of seasonal fruits and vegetables—many of which are hard to find at larger chain stores. The herbs are always fresh, and the selection of greens (like cilantro, mint, and basil) is perfect for anyone looking to create authentic dishes at home. They also offer an impressive selection of seafood, meats, and specialty items, including dried goods, noodles, sauces, and spices. I love that I can always count on finding the specific ingredients I need for Vietnamese cooking, and I often discover new things to try.

Atmosphere & Service:
The store has a welcoming, neighborhood feel—no frills, just a solid selection of quality products at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and always ready to help, whether it’s offering advice on where to find something or helping with a special request. It’s not the most polished store, but the warm, community-oriented atmosphere more than makes up for it.

Pricing:
Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the freshness and variety of the products. I’ve found that Chợ Tân Bình offers great deals on produce and meats compared to larger supermarkets, and they often have bulk items available at a discount.

Conclusion:
Chợ Tân Bình is my go-to supermarket for all my weekly shopping. From its fresh, quality produce to the wide array of international ingredients, it’s the perfect spot for anyone who loves to cook and explore new flavors. The friendly service and great prices only make it better. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly recommend giving it a visit—you might just find your new favorite place to shop!

Neat place but zero labels in English. Would have LOVED to load up on the hot food being served but figured it too much hassle to ask about every entree. By the number of Asian shoppers they don't need to be I suppose
