My favorite place to go on Sundays. The Corrales Growers Market has the best produce, breads, and other mother watering delights. For some vendors, lines are formed before the vendor even arrives.

While I appreciate the small, local variety of vegetables, meats, plants and breads...I’m not fond of the consistent “pushing” of politics or referendums as soon as you walk into the market area. If I wanted 50% hot air and sweetened deception, I’ll buy cream puffs from the local organic baker, thank you very much.

I was at the market during the extremely busy Sandoval Master Gardeners plant sale which takes up multiple booths. There was not clear dividers between that booth and the neighboring booth which was also selling plants. I stepped through to the other booth and the owner yelled at me that the exist to the plant sale was the other way (rude, but fine) but then physically shoved me back into the other booth. I could not believe this woman laid hands on me. I wrote to the market about this experience and they told me she was “allowed to protect her booth” apparently by assaulting customers and to “put myself in her shoes” - hard to do since I don’t go around assaulting people. I usually go to this market every week but will never return.

July 30th 2023 was the first time I’ve ever been to this little cool Growers Market. I seriously live like 10 minutes away. I am so glad I did too. There is so much going on in there too. Lots of locals selling the freshest veggies, fruits spices, jams, fresh meat “frozen” and so much much more.
Personally I think it’s worth the trip to go check it out..It will not disappoint… It’s a little pricey, but so worth every penny..to support our local growers, bakers, makers and more…
