This place is a true original -- a family-run neighborhood market with an old-school vibe and incredibly personal, friendly service. I had a package delivered here instead of to my home since I was out of town, and when I went to pick it up 4 minutes before close, I had the pleasure of chatting with Arvella, Kenton, & Dennis who were very chipper and helpful! I'll be back for snacks & scratchers in the future.

I come here for my lunch break. I love these people. Service is a little slow but give her a break she's like 80 and working her butt off. Always so sweet and friendly. They are a mom and pop corner store and serve great sandwiches made with love.

People working there were very rude. Was there to pick up a package. Waited in line for the front and the cashier tells me she doesn't know anything about that and to go ask the person in the back making sandwiches. Went to the back to ask the guy about it and hes like yeah I know about the packages but you're going to have to wait in the sandwich line which is to the door at this point to grab a package that should take a second. No please no thank you.

The guy with the ponytail is an absolute jerk. He doesn’t know how to help customers pick up their packages at the UPS access point. He began yelling at me when I asked for help with my package. He was easily frustrated. I waited 30 minutes just to receive my package. The market store should not be a location to pick up packages. It felt like an unsafe interaction with the employee.

A small market run by a lovely family. Ups drop off point for midtown sac. They have lots of old interesting instruments and tools for delis that are either antiquated or no longer made. Super interesting corner store/deli run by friendly people.
