Me gustaba ir a este supermercado cuando estuve de vacaciones allí. Lo primero que ves son muchas plantas de alegres colores en la entrada. Si buscaba comida preparada, cualquier elección era buena: buena relación calidad/ precio. Lo mejor era el pollo al tika_masala. En general había siempre variedad de ofertas del día que ayudaban mucho a ahorrar. Fruta y verdura fresca y un supermercado luminoso y limpio. El personal es lo mejor de todo: atentos y dispuestos a ayudarte. Lo recomiendo.

After tonight I won't be using this store again! Dreadful customer service when it comes to home deliveries. Was supposed to get shopping delivered tonight but they took it to my old address and wont bother fixing the mistake and bringing it to my proper one so now I'm left without any food until tomorrow and £40 out of pocket until I get a refund! "Helping the community" don't think so!

The way I seen 5 young ladies be treated today in tesco actually disgusted me to a level of complete anger.. They were ‘kicked’ out of the shop for walking around. While on there way to an aisle as well! Tesco you have not only just lost 5 but 6 very loyal customers. The children simply were embarassed by this behaviour of ADULTS.. Adults who are like children? 30 seconds to pick what they would like which is actually disgusting in my humble opinion..The children were not doing anything wrong. Tesco, ayr you are a disgrace. Plus the fact a lot of people have agreed with me on this matter. The woman who escorted them seemed quite happy with what she was doing and she knew EXACTLY what she was doing. I am disgusted, disgraced and quite literally shocked the girls were framed for running when one of them lightly jogged for around 2 seconds then stopped and respected the rules. They were then made go into singles?Shocking.. I wouldn’t be surprised if the parents even took this to the store! Shocked. WONT BE BACK

So we arrived on holiday to Ayr on Tuesday afternoon 6th of August 2024 we were told to come to this store for our groceries for the week so we did my 18yr old son went off with his little sister to get the beer he was wanting to buy himself while myself and my husband got the groceries we needed and our wine for that evening my son went to check out with his little sister got asked for ID which he showed to be then be refused as he had his sister with him she also ask my 16 year old daughter for her ID when she was not buying or drinking alcohol as she is underage my son just wanted a couple beers for himself which is like refusing me for having my daughter with me so makes no sense the young girl server had long dark hair and glasses we seen her today when we went back in about 2ish this afternoon 11th of August but then today we all went to the check out I was buying alcohol and food for tonight the alcohol being for myself my husband and my 18yr old son NOT my 16yr old bearing inind I am 42 and my hubby is 41 to be asked by the older lady who served us short grey hair not a smile on her face if the young girl who was with me was my daughter YES YES she is my daughter don't know why it was of any concern as she just went for a seat while I paid think this tescos need to be having serious words with thete staff luckily we leave on Tuesday and don't need to go back there and if we are ever up this way again will avoid this tescos at all costs

This is a large, well stocked store with loads of wheelchair friendly car parking & entrance. There is also a petrol garage adjacent to this store. The store is situated on a busy road & shares the area with a McDonald's restaurant, so can be frustrating to get out onto the main road again as this restaurant gets extremely busy. Came here on Saturday, but soon wished I'd not bothered. The store was extremely busy, but I could only see 3 tills open, so people were queuing down the aisles. It was like Christmas had come early. I ended up taking my small trolley to the self-service area, which again had a long line of people waiting, (Why not have self-service for baskets & trolleys separately? A competitor does). The till I used ended up calling for the assistant 4 or 5 times, but as there was only one assistant dealing with this area, It took a wee while for her to come & help me every time. If it wasn't for the fact that some of the items I had in the trolley were for a sick relative I was going to visit at the hospital & needed these items, I'd have left the trolley & walked out as all the queues & waiting for assistance with the self service which kept calling for her, put me in a bad mood with frustration. It was not an ideal feeling to have as I was going straight to the hospital afterwards. This store seems to be going downhill, as the atmosphere & service at times isn't very good. This feels like a case of Tesco penny pinching & cutting front line staff & therefore making a shopping experience a bit torturous. This was an experience I don't want to repeat, so I reckon I will shop elsewhere.
